Why SACDEP Stands Out

For over 32 years, SACDEP-Kenya has led impactful development projects. It has transformed over 150,000 households, benefiting more than 450,000 people through S.E.A. principles. By promoting low-cost, high-impact agricultural solutions, SACDEP provides an alternative to expensive external inputs.

To enhance self-reliance, the organization invests in immovable assets that generate bridging funds for unfunded initiatives. SACDEP has also established the College of Sustainable Agriculture for Eastern Africa (CSAEA) to further advance agricultural education and innovation.

Defining Success

Success is measured by:

  1. Efficient use of resources for maximum impact.
  2. Measurable improvements in outputs, outcomes, and long-term impact.
  3. Empowering communities to become self-reliant, ambitious, and visionary about their future.

Future of the Sector

The PRD Sector aims to strengthen SACDEP’s human resource capacity by:

  1. Expanding support for S.E.A. technologies.
  2. Enhancing strategies for resource mobilization.
  3. Improving quality control in project planning, execution, and evaluation.

SACDEP’s Vision and Mission guide all its initiatives, ensuring that results are measurable and sustainable.
